Balance Bar - Any Users?

Hey John, this is Nev from Snowboard Addiction. I don't think any of our users really comment in here so though I'd just in and help you. The balance bar is not like a park rail. Snowboarding on a park rail is definitely the best practice you can get. The balance bar is more for just learning the movements required for certain tricks and turning on the balance muscles in your legs and body that will make sliding rails easier. It's a great way to practice for rails especially in the off season. Hope this helps. Cheers

PS: the reviews on the balance bar on are website are from our actual customers. So you can get an idea of what they think of it from reading the reviews. Hope this helps again. Nev

Thanks Nev, I had another comment but it says pending. Basically I want to know, should I be wearing my pants and protective gear while practicing to get the best feeling? I have some shorts like these- https://properpeaks.com/snowboard-impact-shorts-what-are-they/

Would you I wear them with the trainer under real pants or just practice in shorts? I’ll have a look at the reviews a bit further but did read a lot so I reached out. Thanks.

I would recommend just training in casual gear or shorts otherwise you’ll get very sweaty very quickly.
