This is completely normal. The white marks is just the layer of wax on the base being scratched or scuffed. If you wax your board the marks will go away.

It is not necessary for you to wax the Jib Training Board but you can if you would like to rejuvenate it. You can hot wax it or use a rub on wax with snowboard wax.
